I have another feature suggestion. Highlight a word on a page in Safari or any other services-aware app, and you'll see an option to "look up in dictionary". It would be wonderful if such an option could appear for Tensai.

BTW I note there's still no paypal donation button. If sending you a few bucks will help us get these features implemented, I (for one) am in. Tensai is the best japanese dictionary program on the mac, and I'm really looking forward to its continued progress. Thanks very much!

And if you look on the left hand side of your keyboard, you might also be able to find the caps-lock key, which seems to be stuck in the "on" position.

To Ken,

If you go into your System Preferences you can activate the native Japanese language function, which will allow you to write in Japanese.

.92 has pretty much everything I think I was looking for (the noteable exception being the ability to change the colors of the window backgrounds which is a minro thing in my book) in the update! I also like the iTunes-esque ability to make new lists simply by dragging results. I didn't try that in the earlier version, but either way it's great. Now if only you could force Mircosoft word to bundle it as part of their word processor... I guess that's what multi-tasking is all about!

Can't wait to see 1.0!

The icon: I think it fits perfectly with Apple's HI guidelines. It looks almost exactly like Dictionary.app's icon, execpt the book is blue, oriented properly for Japanese reading, and has a kanji character on it.

Dear Justin,

Great work on this standalone Japanese dictionary for mac! Keep it up!

How about a 'Kanji/Word of the Day' on the startup screen? A jouyou kanji or common word could be randomly generated everytime the dictionary starts.

It would certainly keep Japanese learners motivated and keen to use the dictionary!

Thank you. You have my continuous support.
